The highly anticipated follow-up to EvoCreo has finally arrived on Android platforms. Developer ilmfinity recently addressed fan questions on Reddit, offering insights about current gameplay mechanics and future plans for this monster-catching RPG.

A Vibrant World of Creature Collecting

For newcomers, EvoCreo2 plunges players into the expansive world of Shoru, where trainers can discover and battle with hundreds of unique Creo creatures. Created by the team behind Monster Adventure Games, this sequel expands upon the original's formula with deeper mechanics and an engaging storyline.

The adventure begins when you enroll at the Shoru Police Academy, thrust into a mystery involving disappearing monsters. Across 50+ missions, you'll explore hidden secrets while competing against tough opponents in strategic battles.

Developer Q&A Highlights

Upcoming Features Coming Soon

Multiplayer functionality ranks high on the priority list, though bug fixes and balancing take precedence initially. Controller compatibility and cloud saves will also arrive in future updates.

Catch Rates & Shiny Hunting

  • Standard shinies appear at 0.2% odds
  • Ultra-rare shinies boast merely 0.02% encounter rates
  • Starter Creos cannot be obtained as shinies
  • Weakened HP and status conditions improve catch chances
  • Higher-level and shiny variants prove more challenging to capture

Development Roadmap

The team outlined their update schedule:

  2. Cloud saves and controller support implementation
  3. Additional story content expansion
  4. Multiplayer functionality rollout

While awaiting these enhancements, monster trainers can currently experience EvoCreo2 via the Google Play Store.
