"World of Goo 2 Launches Mobile Version with Physics Puzzles"

After a long-awaited hiatus, the beloved puzzle game World of Goo has made a triumphant return with its full sequel, World of Goo 2, now available on mobile devices. Developed by 2DBOY and Tomorrow Corporation, the game has launched not only on Android but also on Steam, PlayStation 5, and iOS, bringing its unique blend of physics-based puzzling to a wide audience.

A Ton of New Stuff

World of Goo 2 Mobile introduces a wealth of new content, including over 30 additional achievements that players can strive to unlock. A notable addition is the options menu, marking the first time such a feature has been included in any game by 2DBOY or Tomorrow Corporation.

The original World of Goo, released on Windows in October 2008, captivated players with its innovative gameplay where they constructed bizarre bridges and towers using goo balls, all while battling the forces of physics and gravity. In the sequel, players will engage with realistic flowing, splashing, and viscous liquid, manipulating it like a river, transforming it into Goo Balls, extinguishing fires, and tackling absurd puzzles.

World of Goo 2 Mobile also introduces new types of Goo, such as Jelly Goo, Liquid Launchers, Growing Goo, Shrinking Goo, Explosive Goo, and many other intriguing species. Players will have a blast experimenting with how these different Goo types interact and solve puzzles.

Check out one of the trailers below to get a glimpse of the game in action:

There Are a Lot of Levels to Chew Through in the World of Goo 2 Mobile

The game features a new narrative spread across five chapters, offering more than 60 new levels, each with additional challenges. The storyline spans hundreds of thousands of years, immersing players in a rich and expansive world.

Players will collaborate with a mysterious company that touts its eco-friendly initiatives, aiming to collect as much Goo as possible. However, there's more to this company than meets the eye, and players will uncover deeper secrets as they progress through the game.

After all these years, the iconic goo balls are back. You can grab World of Goo 2 from the Google Play Store for $9.99 and dive into the gooey fun.
