The potential for frightening encounters with iconic figures like the Nazgûl or Gollum fueled fan excitement.
However, securing the necessary rights proved impossible. Bloober Team's current focus is on Cronos: The New Dawn, and potentially further collaborations with Konami on Silent Hill titles. Whether they will revisit the Lord of the Rings horror concept remains uncertain, but the initial concept alone has ignited considerable interest.
