NetEase has released comprehensive player statistics for Marvel Rivals, highlighting the most and least popular heroes during the game's initial month. The data reveals surprising trends in character selection and win rates across Quickplay and Competitive modes on both PC and console.
The upcoming Season 1, featuring the highly anticipated Fantastic Four, prompted NetEase to share this "Hero Hot List" before the January 10th launch. The stats show a clear favorite in Quickplay: Jeff the Land Shark boasts the highest pick rate across both PC and console platforms. However, the competitive scene paints a different picture. Cloak & Dagger dominates on console, while Luna Snow reigns supreme on PC.
Marvel Rivals: Most Popular Heroes
While Jeff's popularity is undeniable, Mantis surprisingly claims the top spot for overall win rate. This Strategist hero boasts a remarkable win rate exceeding 50% in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%), outperforming contenders like Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.
Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with extremely low pick rates (1.66% in Quickplay and a mere 0.69% in Competitive), largely attributed to player feedback regarding her damage output and gameplay. However, NetEase has announced significant buffs for Storm in Season 1, potentially altering her position on the leaderboard. The upcoming balance changes promise to shake up the meta considerably.
