Marvel Snap's Legacy Season: Sam Wilson Takes Center Stage
This month's Marvel Snap season, themed "Legacy," introduces Sam Wilson as the new Captain America, alongside a host of new characters and locations. The update significantly impacts gameplay strategy.
Sam Wilson's card introduces a new mechanic: Captain America's Shield. This indestructible shield randomly appears at a location at the start of each match and can be moved. Each time it lands on Sam Wilson's location, his power increases by +2.

February will see a staggered release of new characters: Joaquín Torres (February 4th), Iron Patriot and Thaddeus Ross (February 11th), Redwing (February 18th), and Diamondback (February 25th). These Series 5 cards will be obtainable through the Token Shop and Spotlight Cache.
Two exciting new locations enhance strategic depth:
- Smithsonian Museum: Provides an additional +1 Power per Ongoing card.
- Madripoor: Boosts the highest-cost card at that location by +2 Power after each turn.
These locations encourage diverse deckbuilding strategies. For a comprehensive ranking of all characters, check out our updated Marvel Snap tier list.
Collectors can also look forward to new albums featuring avatars, emotes, and variants. The Viktor Farro album (February 4th) includes a Darkhawk variant, while the Lemon Fashion album (February 25th) offers exclusive Elsa Bloodstone content.
