Neverness to Everness is set to hold its first closed beta test, but only in China

Hotta Studios' upcoming open-world RPG, Neverness to Everness, is gearing up for its first closed beta test. Unfortunately, this initial test will be exclusive to mainland China.

Gematsu recently highlighted new lore details for the game, offering further insight into the blend of quirky humor and everyday life within the world of Hetherau. The city of Eibon, showcased in previous trailers (see below), plays a central role in this narrative. The trailers provide a glimpse into the game's unique atmosphere.

Hotta Studios, a subsidiary of Perfect World (creators of the popular Tower of Fantasy), is venturing into a competitive market. Neverness to Everness, while fitting within the established 3D open-world RPG genre, distinguishes itself with several key features.

One standout feature is the inclusion of open-world driving. Players can customize and drive a variety of vehicles, experiencing realistic consequences for reckless driving.

The game faces significant competition from titles like MiHoYo's Zenless Zone Zero and NetEase's Ananta (formerly Project Mugen), both of which occupy a similar niche within the mobile 3D open-world RPG landscape.
