The Nintendo Switch 2 is confirmed for a 2025 launch, anticipated in the latter half of the year. "Nintendo Switch 2 Experience" events will be held in 15 global locations starting in April, offering hands-on time with the new console. While registration for many locations has closed, waitlists are available. Japan's registration remains open until February 20th JST.
Expanding Nintendo's presence beyond gaming, a new Super Nintendo World theme park opens in Orlando, Florida's Universal Epic Universe on May 22nd, 2025. This follows the successful launch in Universal Studios Hollywood. The Orlando park will feature Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country themes.
