Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) is gearing up for a broader audience with a new social media account dedicated to its English version, hinting at a release date reveal during an upcoming livestream. In a Twitter (X) post on May 15, P5X Official West announced a major update to be shared via a livestream on May 15 at 7:00 AM PT on Atlus’ official Western YouTube channel.

The livestream will showcase special guests, including Kaede Hondo, voice of Motoha Arai, and Chika Anzai, voice of Yui, alongside P5X Chief Producer Yohsuke Uda and Development Director Yusuke Nitta from ATLUS, as well as Development Producer Jun Matsunaga and Live Ops Director Yuta Sakai from SEGA.
P5X debuted in select regions in April 2024. Speculation is rife that the Western release date may be unveiled during the stream, following hints of English localization plans shared during the game’s first anniversary livestream. The official account also teased that Japan’s release date will be confirmed, adding, “What about the West? Tune in to find out!”

The livestream will also provide updates on P5X’s Japanese release, as announced during the game’s first anniversary event. Atlus confirmed a Summer 2025 launch in Japan, with pre-registrations now open on the P5X Japanese website.
Additionally, Sega Sammy Holdings, in their Fiscal Year 2025 Results Presentation on May 12, included P5X in their rollout schedule, targeting a launch “in or after FY2026/3” (April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026), aligning with a summer release.
