HoYoverse has revealed details for Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.6 update, "Among the Forgotten Ruins," launching March 12th. New Eridu is set for a thrilling upheaval, with significant story and character additions.

The Version 1.6 Update: A Deep Dive

Proxies find themselves embroiled in a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, involving a mysterious artifact connected to the Sacrifice. The nefarious Mockingbird syndicate attempts to sabotage the Mayor's plans, adding another layer of intrigue. Further complicating matters are other factions vying for the artifact, and the ambiguous actions of Hugo and Vivian, leaving players to question their allegiances.

New and Returning Characters

Version 1.6 introduces Anby Demara, formerly Soldier 0 and leader of Silver Squad, as a new S-Rank Electric Attack Agent wielding dual swords. Trigger, an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent and ace sniper from Obol Squad, also joins the fray, utilizing Sniper Mode for strategic attacks and Quick Assist setups.

Returning characters include Pulchra Fellini (A-Rank Physical Stun Agent), Burnice (S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent), and Zhuyuan (S-Rank Ether Attack Agent), all featured in rerun banners.

New Gameplay and Challenges

Prepare for the demanding Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge. The new Hollow Zero gameplay mode, Shadow Operation, introduces dynamic stage effects, such as damage boosts based on accumulated coins.

Experience unique sniper missions in Trigger's TV Schedule, utilizing third-person sniper gameplay. March On, Tiny Titan! and Little Knight’s Big Charge offer additional challenges, controlling a Bangboo drone and guiding it through trials, respectively, with rewards including Pulchra as a playable agent.
