Onimusha: Way of the Sword – A Deeper Dive

PlayLaunching in 2026, Onimusha: Way of the Sword prioritizes compelling characters, a fresh protagonist, and engaging enemies. The game faithfully recreates Kyoto's historical settings, promising intense sword combat with visceral enemy takedowns. Set in the Edo period, the protagonist, through a twist of fate, wields an Oni Gauntlet, fueled by the souls of defeated Genma. The challenge level aims for accessibility while maintaining thrilling action for all skill levels.

Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny – Remastered for 2025

PlayThe 2002 classic, Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny, receives a remastered release in 2025, bridging the gap until Onimusha: Way of the Sword's arrival.

Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta 2 – Arkveld Awaits

PlayThe second Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta introduces the flagship monster, Arkveld, in a challenging quest. Additional content includes a Gypceros Hunt, a training area, and online features like Private Lobbies and Online Single Player mode. Data from the first beta transfers, and the Character Creator, Story Trial, and Doshaguma hunt return. Cross-play is enabled. Beta dates:

  • February 6th, 7 PM PT – February 9th, 6:59 PM PT
  • February 13th, 7 PM PT – February 16th, 6:59 PM PT

PlayCharacter data transfers to the full game (February 28th release), but progress does not. Participants receive a special Pendant.

Monster Hunter Wilds – Iceshard Cliffs and New Threats

A new story trailer showcased the frigid Iceshard Cliffs, home to new monsters: Rove (Wudwud), Hirabami (Leviathan), Nerscylla (Temnoceran), and Gore Magala. Further details on Arkveld were also revealed.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 – May 16th Release

Play Capcom Fighting Collection 2 launches May 16th, 2025, featuring Capcom vs. SNK Millennium Fight 2000 Pro, Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001, Capcom Fighting Evolution, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, Power Stone, Power Stone 2, Project Justice, and Plasma Sword: Night of Bilstein.
